Well it's been a while. Finished up with graduate studies last year and got a job at VRSim over in East Hartford, Connecticut. Was going well for a while but the work environment just got too much for me. Though it seemed as though I got along well with everyone and worked real hard, I really never felt I fit in there.  On the plus I learned a lot about debugging, testing strategies, and additional organization skills.

So now its back to looking elsewhere to find a place I really feel I belong. For now it's getting my portfolio up to date and then the applying.

So took me a while to get back to the blog as things have been busy with job hunting and capstone. GDC was a blast, though a bit exhausting. =p

Anyways, learned some cool concepts for graphics and physics from some great summits (like relativistic collision detection systems), and met a bunch of nice people on the expo floor (too many to name here ;)). It was nice to see the interest in some of the game projects I had worked on too while I worked the RIT booth.

Still got lots to with getting capstone finished as well as getting my research done. That and flying out all across the country for interviews to line up a job after graduating will make this quarter a pretty intense one. =p

Just managed to get my portfolio in order, just in time for GDC. Won't have access to a computer for the next week but it'll give me a great opportunity to learn and meet some new people. First time I'll be heading down to California too so should be fun.

Also, I'll be working the booth for RIT on Wednesday and Thursday from 12pm-2pm at GDC, so anyone heading there and somehow seeing this before then, see you there. ;)
